Heroes Lament

Peter Coia wrote the song ‘Heroes Lament’ with Sir William Wallace in mind. He told us, Heroes Lament' is a song that tries to remind us why brave heroes like Sir William Wallace gave their life and what they would be thinking if they could see Scotland now’.

Peter, who was born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire in 1952, writes and records his material in a small studio in his home in Stirling, where he has lived since 1992. Peter is also an accomplished musician and plays many of the instruments on his recordings himself. He has been writing and producing music in Scotland since 1970 and his music is published under his independent label 'Peter Coia Music'.
